On my previous stays in Basel I have resided at major chain hotels, and while they are lovely, the Hotel Euler is quite fabulous! It is about 140 years old so has a charm that new buildings lack. And its rooms have been updated to provide all the 'technical' comforts of home (wifi, flat screen SMART TV).It is located directly adjacent to the tram station, and there is a Starbucks below my window. I have a great view of the park across the street, which is very green due to all of the rain. And it is where lots of people walk their dogs!
