I have wanted to visit Savannah in what seems like forever. I am an avid paranormal show fan, I LOVED Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil (the book was REALLY better, but I am a compete sucker for John Cuzak...). So when the need to come to Atlanta for work arose, and I would be so very close, how could I not make the extra effort to get to Savannah???
It is simply stunning, and so rich with history. We went on a museum tour that took us through 3 facilities. One very modern, and 2 homes built in the 1800's. And of course I had to stop by the Mercer house. It was too late to go inside, but I had seen the "Bird Girl" at the Telfair Academy earlier in the day.
And meanwhile back at home...
